Buried secrets never stay hidden in the South.

I fell in love with him when I was fourteen. Under the stars, he told me he loved me, and under the stars we promised to love each other always. But under the stars, he broke my heart by walking away.

He left me without a second glance. I was just an afterthought.
Now he’s back, but this time, I’m not falling for his Southern charm.

It’s time I get my happily ever after, even if part of me wishes he was still mine.

I found out on my twenty-first birthday that everything I thought I knew was a lie, and the man I had grown up thinking was my father wasn’t.

The pain I felt blinded me, making it impossible to hear what anyone said.
I left them all behind, including her, my best friend and the woman I was going to marry.

Five years later, I’m back, only to find the woman I still love has another man’s ring on her finger.

She’s going to marry my best friend unless I stop her. And this time, I only have until sunrise to change her mind.

My Review

**6 STARS** I was blown away at the end of Southern Storm and I was dying waiting to see what was going to happen with Ethan!! I DID NOT expect him to leave (hint: I never remember blurbs LOL). I really loved how Natasha wrote this book and how it was just a tad bit different in how she wrote it. This book needed to be different, because Ethan and his situation were definitely different. We got to see him grow into an amazing man and I loved that so much!

Now, Ethan definitely did some crazy and truly awful things, BUT I love that he did! No way would this story have been the same or as good had he not left. Adding in the elements with Emily and her friends, plus the best friend plot twist. It was just all so dramatic and so good! My favorite books are ones that are filled with a ton of emotions and HOLY CRAP DID I GET EMOTIONS! I was laughing, crying (literally) and angry. I mean we got the full range of emotions in this one! And we got our fair share of twists and turns on this roller coaster too!

There was something so super special about Emily and Ethan, so much more than so than the other couples. These two grew up in love and I really felt like if they hadn’t been apart as long as they did, the their love wouldn’t have been as strong as it was. With this came so much heart break (see crying above), super cheese romantic parts and lots of spice! These two had chemistry that was explosive!

I cannot talk about this story without talking about the rest of the family. I cried so many times, and a few of them were with family. When he talked with Beau, Savannah, Jacob and Kallie, each of those moments were so special! And we can’t forget Casey!! I LOVE THAT MAN so much!!! He is really like the glue to this group because of this. He did so much to help this family and I was sooo grateful for that!

I am just so happy that I don’t even know what to write!! I CANNOT wait to read more from Natasha!!

Meet Natasha Madison
