Hello my loves!! So I realized at the beginning of this month that I really wanted to meet my goal for the reading challenge on Goodreads. That meant I needed to read 7-8 books a week to get there. Well, so far I’m not doing too bad!!I’m going to try and share 7-8 books at a time to break it up!

Whiskey Undone (Whiskey & Likes #3, finale) by Carrie Ann Ryan

FINALLY!!!!!!!!! Since book 1 I’ve been dying to see what happens with Loch and Ainsley!!

The way these two finally got together was THE BEST!! I loved the uncertainty of it, the breaking point and the pieces that followed. There were so many layers to them as a couple, even before they were a couple. It was great to see them get peeled back to see how they fit together. One of the most adorable parts was how Misty was involved. This little girl seemed to really want to play Cupid, even though that’s never really made mention.

The twists and turns in this book were amazing. I loved the edge of suspense that this book took on. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I love how Loch dealt with the bad situations and how caveman like he was about protecting everyone around him.

And the ending. I am the biggest fan of epilogues and Carrie Ann does them SO WELL. This was a beautiful ending to an amazing series. So glad we got to see another connection with the Montgomery’s with this famil

Second Chance Ink (Montgomery Ink #8.7) by Carrie Ann Ryan

I read this in Carrie Ann’s emails, I loved it!! I love seeing these secondary characters get their own little story. Brandon and Lauren have such a strong past, I loved seeing them get back together and instantly still have the bond that that they did. Can’t wait to see if we get a little more of these two ❤

Unstable by SE Hall

KEATON FREAKING CASH!!!!!! Where have you been all of my life???? I NEED a man like this, PRONTO!

When we were first introduced to Henley I wasn’t really sure what to think. I felt so bad for this poor girl! Then, we meet Keaton, and I’m like OH BOY, HERE WE GO!!! LOLOL I just knew he was going to take this book to a whole new level, and boy did he! Poor Henley had so much regret when she returned home, and it was so hard to see her be like that. I love how Keaton had come in and basically taken over her life. He wasn’t going to let her sit and wallow, he was determined to help her live a full life. Everything he did for her made me fall in love with him a little bit more. I loved the little characters in the town too, they really drove this story home. If it weren’t for people like Donna, Henley wouldn’t have been the same person.

Back to Keaton, LOLOL, I love how absolutely devoted he was to Henley. He was determined to be there for her in every way possible. When she finally started letting him help, I was so relieved for her, and so happy for him. The best though, were his hysterical and raunchy comments, they had me cracking up from the moment we met him! He was so saucy, it was great! These two were really something else, and when she finally let herself go it was the best!!!

I need more of Keaton Cash, and Henley I guess, in my life!

Quarterback Sack by SE Hall & Hilary Storm

I LOVE SE HALL SO MUCH! I haven’t read any Hilary yet, but these two were ON FIRE writing together!! Sports romance is my favorite and I especially love when the sport is so involved in the book.

Ava and Rush are so awesome. I love how Ava fights how she feels and Rush doesn’t take no for an answer. From the moment they met, we really got to see their spark. It was so fun watching that spark develop into a burning flame! These two were on fire and I love how they went back and forth. As I said before I love how much football was a part of this story. They did an amazing job about really making it a focus of the book!

Entwine (Evolve #4.5) by SE Hall

YES, YES, YES!!!!! This was EXACTLY what I needed from Laney and Dane for their wedding and reception!!!! Of course Sawyer and his insanity had some of my favorite parts (lol). This also made me a little teary eyed because I read it after reading their whole series. Thank you SE for making this so perfect!

Stirred Up by SE Hall & Angela Graham

I love SE Hall so much! This is the second time I’ve read this book and it was even funnier the second time around!! Reading it a second time I saw so ma y things I missed before too! I loveeee Brady so much. I loved the banter between him and Addison and how close they were. It was so great!

Dirty Bad Boy (Back to You #3) by Mira Lyn Kelly

This book really blew away all expectations!!! Mira had reached out to me about reviewing it, but I didn’t think I had the time. After reading the blurb I quickly decided I needed to make time. I’M SO GLAD I DID!!

I absolutely loved everything about Jack and Laurel. From the moment she walked into the bar and THOUGHT of Jack I was glued. I was so curious about their past, how they knew each other and how Jack would play along. The constant bickering and nods to their past was so addicting!! Was almost like watching an old married couple LOL. I really loved how long they’d known each other, and it really seemed like as they stayed together it was as if they’d never been apart.

The bullheadedness of these two was outrageously good! They both didn’t want to admit anything, especially as circumstances would change and that was hysterical. To see the banter and the constant amount of “holding back” what they wanted to do, it really made such a difference in this book. Having the dual POV made this book soooooooooo much better! I loved that we really got to see what both of them were thinking, but never at the same time. It really helped the story flow so well!

Between their subtle changes, friends comments, and their “moments” this book really was just so good! I loved every single minute of this story and can’t wait to go back and read the others stories! It made such a great standalone, that I had no clue it was in a series!
