Reviews & Ramblings. December 2017

Hello my loves!! If you guys saw my rambling video on facebook last week you might have a little idea of whats going on. I decided to start doing monthly ramblings and review to make things go a wee bit smoother! Now, saying that, I read so may books in December so this one will be a tad bit long. Starting with the January Series I’ll also include some buy links, there will be less books then! Hopefully more good things are to come, it’s been a great 2018 so far!  BUT WHERE IS SPRING? It’s really warm right now, but looks like it’s going to snow again soon =[ =[ =[

~~♥~~ Men of Inked Series ~~♥~~

I started this series at the end of last year because I desperately wanted a series to read. The books are bit expensive, so it’s going to be a while before I can read some more. So here’s what I’ve read so far!!!

The Gallos .05

The Gallos (Men of Inked .5) by Chelle Bliss

I’ve already read books 1-3, so this book was so soecial! Sal and Maria Gallo are the best parents! I loved getting to see this side of the them. It was so adorable to see how in love they still are, and get to see how they started their life together!

I loved Suzy and City so much. I love how rugged he is and how uptight she was, it was so perfect! When they say opposites attract, it was definitely the case for these two. They had crazy chemistry, they were SUPER hot together and I love how she just fit right in with his family. I can’t wait to keep reading this series!

Hook Me 2

Hooked Me (Men of Inked #2) by Chelle Bliss

I enjoyed this book so much!! Michael and Mia were so perfect and both hysterical! Mia is so strong and Michael is so alpha, they really are a great pair. I loved the extra bouts of drama that kept us on our toes too!

Resist M 3.jpg

Resist Me (Men of Inked #3) by Chelle Bliss

I was so excited to see that Izzy’s book was next! I love her brothers so much, but I couldn’t wait to see the only sister’s book. She is so fully of spunk and there’s never a dull moment. When she first met James I was so curious, but never really thought of him after that. When they met again I was so excited! I couldn’t wait to see what kind of man would finally knock down Izzy to the real world. I was so impressed with this story. They came together quickly, but they were so perfect! Great plots and twists, can’t wait for more!

FINALLY!!!! We finally got a sneak peak of Thomas in Izzy’s book and I couldn’t not wait to get more I was so happy to see how his time with the MC ended and that he finally got out.

Thomas and Angel were perfect together. From the moment she thought of running away, I had really hoped she would leave with him. I had secretly hoped when knew who he really was. The best part of these books is the relationship the Gatto family has. They welcomed Angel with open arms and treated Thomas like he never left. We got some great plot twist action out of this guy too! I love how Chelle brings these twists so the books are just your average love story. I cannot wait to read Anthony’s book

P.S. I read this one out of order because it’s about an earlier copy.

This was so bittersweet to read!!! I’ve read Izzy’s book and her other novella. I love that this had an alternate side to the story. I almost wish it had been true!!! Can’t wait to see where Izzy and James go!

Breaking Away (Assassins Series #6) by        Toni Aleo

I LOVED this book!!! I love the banter back and forth between Reese and Phillip. The two frustrated me to no end, but that made everything even better!!!

Whiskey Secrets.jpgWhiskey Secrets (Whiskey & Lies #1) by Carrie Ann Ryan

I was super excited to find out that Carrie Ann was writing about Tabby’s brothers. She is so great at writing the best Alpha males! This book lived up to every expectation, and per the usual, I devoured it in only one day.

Dare and Kenzie are so perfect for each other. Both have a shady past that they can’t get over, it seemed to be fate. I loved how broody Dare is and how he kind of runs from his emotions. I also love that his brothers give him constant crap about it, but they are all there for each other. At the beginning of the book when the brothers just step in and help him with the bar, it’s so endearing!
Kenzie, she’s kind of the same way. She comes of as snarky, but really she is the sweetest. Also, she can totally hold her own with these men. Kenzie also is so easy to get to know! She warmed right up to Ainsley and the brothers. She seemed to come in at the perfect time for their family. It really did seem like fate. Carrie is so good at making us change our minds constantly, right when we have something figured out, something else changes. She is the greatest when it comes to the curve ball and it was done in the best ways in this book!

The best part of this book is that we get to see these little insights to the other bothers lives. I can’t wait to see where this story takes us!

Adoring Ink.jpgAdoring Ink (Montgomery Ink #6.5) by Carrie Ann Ryan

Holly and Brody were adorable. I love how minor characters that we’ve only see glimpses of have been given a entire life with other amazing characters. I don’t really remember Brody too much, but I remember Holly and she is adorable. I’m so glad that she got a book and that she got what she wanted in a man.

I love how these two came together just by chance. Brody did so much to help Holly become who she wants to be, it was so adorable. And Holly Helped Brody overcome so many different fears they were just the perfect pairing!

Ruckus (Sinners of Saint #2) by LJ Shen

Oh Man, this book. I read these books way out of order. I read Vicious just before Scandalous came out, then read that. I FINALLY got back to Ruckus. These books have all wrecked me in one way or another, and this one was no exception. There were so many amazing twists and turns and so many things I didn’t realize reading Vicious. I had NO CLUE that Dean and Rosie had this secret thing going on, we had only seen things from Millie and Vicious’ point of view. It was so nice to get clarification!!!

I love that we got to see so many sides of the characters in this book. We got to see this “new” Vicious and Millie. They both are just so unbelievably happy, it’s adorable. Then we get to see more of the family dynamic of the guys and of the actual families. What’s best though, is that we got to see another tough guy fall, HARD. Dean wasn’t exactly the coolest cucumber in Vicious, but we I didn’t expect this. I love how hard he tried to get to Sophie. I love how they had this adorable banter via text message. I love how they used each other as an escape. I loved it all. I really don’t want this all to end. I really want more of them!

Thresholds.jpgThresholds (The Walshes #8) by Kate Canterbury
EVERYTHING about this book made me so happy!!! I love seeing all of the siblings with their significant others. Everything about this holiday was just so special! The best part of this book was that we got to see chapters from all sorts of different points of view. I especially love that we got to see the Commodore’s point of view, it was hysterical! Being able to see this family take shape the way it has, it’s been wonderful. I was so sad when Kate had announced that she wouldn’t be writing anymore Walsh books. I really wanted to see these relationships play out. I’m so glad she gave us this, even if we don’t get the final pieces to the puzzle, we at least now have a good idea of how these characters all are going to be continuing their lives ❤

 A Crew Christmas.jpg
YESSSS!!!! FINALY!!!!! I was so darn excited to see that SE had written another story about the Crew. All of these characters are just so amazing. I loved that Sawyer was his typical, crazy self, and how Whitley had to plan this party like she did. But the best part, the best part was that we got to see the story from everyone’s eyes. I love that we got to get a sneak peek into each member of the crew’s perspective. It made this book so special!!! I loved seeing Zach and Bennett together, we haven’t seen that much of them as a couple. I really couldn’t have asked for more from a Crew Christmas. Thank you SE ❤
