HELLLOOOOOOOO my loves ♥♥♥♥♥♥ I’m sorry it’s been so long since I’ve gotten to ramble! This year has been so hectic getting back into the swing of things and I started training a new girl at work. Sooo I’m back at it! I’ve read a good bit since the last time we got to ramble with you guys. Lets get started ♥
~~♥~~ Audio ~~♥~~
Let’s start with some Audio books, ya’ll know how much I love listening to books! I recently started using the TuneIn App, but I’m not sure I’m willing to pay $11 a month for it. Will keep you guys informed on it! I haven’t gotten through too many audio books because two of them were so long, but they are some goodies!
Entice (Evolve Series #3) by SE Hall
I have loved Sawyer Beckett from the very begging. He has always been the best of friends!! He is so good to Laney and helped Evan from the day he moved to their school. Who can ask for a better friend??? Everything about him is amazing so I was so excited to find that this was his book. I was so surprised by Emmett, she’s so sweet and shy. She’s so opposite of him, but not at the same time. They are such the perfect pair. And I love his mindset about the whole thing. He knows he’s whipped from day one and he doesn’t even care. This book was so much more than I could have ever imagined. Thank you SE
Endure (Evolve Series #4) by SE Hall
This book was SO bittersweet for me. I am a little sad thatI missed some of the events that happened between the last book and this one, it really jumped pretty far ahead. BUT that didn’t seem to make too much of an impact because the book was still so beautiful! I love Zack and I love Bennett and this could not have made me happier. And the Squad!!! That’s so exciting! I can’t wait to see where SE goes from here =]
Fifty Shades Series: So I started this series at the end of December on audio in prep for the new movie and I remembered how much I adored listening to this series! I’m about half way through Fifty Shades Freed. The narrator, Becca Battoe is so good! She’s the PERFECT Anna!
A Taste for Mate (Redwood Pack #2) Carrie Ann Ryan. Ya’ll know how much I love Carrie, I’m excited to get into this next series! I’ve got the next few books on audio too. I can’t wait!
I really love Carrie’s writing. I’ve read the entire Dante Circle and Montgomery Ink series, and I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into another series of hers. Well, this book did not disappoint! It was really everything that I hoped it would be, I can’t wait to see where she takes the Redwood packs story!
Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks
I forgot how amazing Nicholas Sparks’ writing is. There is so much depth and emotion to everything he writes. I adored this series from the MINUTE I started it! Rebecca Lowman was such a great narrator!
Everything about Katie and Alex was so enticing, from the moment we got to see them start interacting to the quirky little things between them, her and Jo and the inner workings of Kevin. There are so many layers to this story and twists and turns. This was whole story was so fantastic!
~~♥~~ ARCS Part 1~~♥~~
Now lets get to some ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies). I’ve gotten a little bit in over my head, so from here on out I am going to try and do no more than 4 ARCS a month. I haven’t had time to read what I want to read. BUT, I have had some really great books!
Stud: A Stepbrother Romance by Demi Craig
This book was such a great taboo tale! I love how Daniel and Hayley had a full circle in this book! Both of these characters had changed in such a major way and their tale is so twisted. I can’t wait to read more from Demi!
Encore Worthy (Mountains & Men 0.5) by R.C. Martin.
This was an ARC that I was pretty excited to read. I’m a big music person and really like to read romances that involve music and this one really does! This is a short prequel.
Only one chapter in and I was completely addicted to this book! Sage and Millie are so adorable! Their story is so addicting and I can’t wait to read more!
Face-Off At the Alter (Assassins #10) by Toni Aleo (Hockey Romance ♥)
I love everything about hockey, and when romance is combined that makes it even better! I absolutely adore this series and Toni did all of the right things with this one! I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out. Everything from Markus and Mekena were so perfect and so adorable!
Misled: A Bad boy Mafia Romantic Suspense by Penelope Marshall and Tia Lewis.
I loved Penelope and Tia writing together!!! They did such a good job with Melissa and Isaiah! Sloane was hysterical and a great addition! There were many layers to this and lots of history. I wasn’t sure how much I would like this one, but I was pleasantly surprised!
Dirty Deeds (Satan’s Wrath MC) by Jacqueline M Sinclair
I have always been a big fan of MC Books, and I do tend to like them a little on the dirty side. Dirty Deeds definitely did this for me!!!! Tori and Trick are two people that were so different than I expected, and that was one of my favorite parts. Tori is such a tough chick and so is Trick with being part of the MC.
Tori is this amazing girl, she’s overcome so much, but looking for revenge. She’s such a kick butt and take name kind of girl and that is so admirable. Best part is, not only did she surprise me, she surprised Trick. Trick seems like this tough guy with a pretty set way about him. She really knocked him off track in the best way.
Cowboy Games by Audrey Randall
I loved this book so much I even did a video review on it! I have always had a deep love for anything cowboy related, from westerns on tv to romance novels so I was really excited to read this story. Audrey did such a great job writing this that it’s so effortless! She did such a good job of bringing in true aspects of the rancher life and she did a great job of making more like what you would expect to find today. Lana being a part of the gaming community gave this book such a great twist!
Jesse being the rancher/cowboy and Lana being the gamer were such an interesting combo! Lana cracks me up with her funny and nerdy phrases, just from the Blurb with her “frack” I was cracking up! And Jesse like to be whitty about it. They are such a great pair! I don’t want to give to much away but they are the perfect pairing of “city” and “country”. Audrey did such a great job with these characters, from their personalities, to the vocabulary they use, to the actual culture of where the book is set.
Giving It Up (Brewhouse #1) Holly Dodd.
I am lucky enough to live in a neighboring city to Holly. She’s such a great person an author! Book number two will be out this month!
This story was so much fun to read! I really enjoy reading V-card books and I really like unexpected romances. Holly did such a great job writing this one! I completely devoured the whole book
Jo is such a strong willed girl, and I really admire her for making her choices! And Kevin was so different than I expected. There were a lot of things about this book that left you thinking and none of it was what was expected. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!
Empire And Kings (Mafia #1) by A.C. Baxter
This book was great! AC Did such a great job with the characters and the plot. The way she described the workings of the maffia and the feuds, all done so well! Vlad and Klara’s tale was so bittersweet! Everything about this is good, there are twists and turns and ups and downs. I can’t wait for the next one!
Make sure to stay tuned for part 2!!! Happy Sunday All ♥
