Hello Everyone, Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!! Today is the official release day for Cleat Chaser by Sloane Howell and Celia Aaron! This is the first romance type novel I’ve read where baseball has been the key sport and I’m sad about this! I love baseball and I really loved this book! My one complaint, IT ENDED TOO SOON! =D
Here’s the description from Good Reads, make sure to catch the disclosure =]
“Kyrie Kent hates baseball. She hates players even more. When her best friend drags her to a Ravens game, she spends the innings reading a book… Until she gets a glimpse of the closer—a pitcher who draws her like a magnet. Fighting her attraction to Easton Holliday is easy. All she has to do is keep her distance, avoid the ballpark, and keep her head down. At least, all that would have worked, but Easton doesn’t intend to let Kyrie walk so easily. When another player vies for Kyrie’s attention, Easton will swing for the fences. But will Kyrie strike him out or let him steal home?
Full disclosure: This is an erotic romance full of hot guys in tight baseball pants, even more guys in tight baseball pants who know how to swing a big stick, and explicit sex.”
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this, and thank you so much to Sloan and Celia! I am a die hard fan of sports novels, and this one didn’t disappoint! It’s a light and fun read that keeps you begging for some more!
I absolutely loved Kyrie, from the moment she was reading on an e-reader during a baseball game to kneeing her ex in his junk! There were so many layers to Kyrie that we got to see unfold with Easton. And Easton, oh my, hunk of baseball yummieness. He may seem like every other jock, but once he meets Kyrie, things change. I love to see the big guys go down hard!!! The supporting characters were great too! Easton’s sister Kasey is absolutely hysterical, she is what I least expected! And her best friend Nikki and his best friend Braden, they are just as funny! When I wasn’t laughing I was squirming in my pants, everything about Cleat Chasers was great!
Overall this was a great read, not too heavy, and just the right amount of everything. Can’t wait to read more from Celia & Sloane!!
Here’s where you can find it!
