Perfectly Imperfect, an inspiring novel

Perfectly ImperfectPerfectly Imperfect by Harper Sloan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is my first read from Harper Sloan, and I think she’s bewitched me! I have no idea how I came about this book, but I am SO glad I did! I wanted to read something that had a lot of meaning to it, and this book had no shortage of this! The heroin, Willow, is a plus size woman who has been beat down her entire life, and it takes a disaster in her lift to pull her out of the fire. And the hero, Kane, he’s a movie star who is so lonely and pining for a curvy beauty he’s only had chance encounters with. What about those two don’t scream, read me now!! I absolutely love Willow. She overcame so much in this book and she did it with the help of an amazing man standing by her side showing her how beautiful she really is. It’s so powerful!

This plot has so many sides to it, and twists and turns. It is truly captivating. The way that Harper writes, you are just sucked in. There’s drama, sadness, hope, devout love, super sexy naughty parts, it really has it all! Thank you Harper for writing something so amazing and empowering. As a woman of size and curve, this really helps us to know that we are someone to be valued and views as just as beautiful as everyone else. That when you put your mind to it, you can do anything!
